bert and ernie or pepe and plas appeared a lot in my work for a couple of months.why?.........not sure.

this is from my ideas book back in1999 mostly done when i stayed in spain for a few months.

Although a lot of these are rough throwdowns and quick ideas they will end up in my main gallery and not in my scraps.
But if you care to venture further there are some other bits and bobs in my scraps.

Its great to find old rough work and ideas from a time that i remember being so free.I had forgoten about these pieces and suprised myself on how much i liked them because usually i look back at work and blush a little.

I just came across bert and ernie in some discarded books and wanted to use them as a tool or in different situations.I have some photos from this period with more bert and ernie.As soon as i find a scanner you will be able to check em out

Yes, I wanted to mention that I myself had the same experience not so long ago with the older work I did in the past. Perhaps, I should upload some of my 93 to 97 sketchbook works to. It would be nice to get some input. Looking at old work like that does give a good amount of perspective.
